My friends at work and I were talking about movies we thought were great when we were kids - but then we've seen them as adults and the movie sucked...
My wife and I recently had such an experience when we bought "The Never Ending Story" for our daughter. We were amazed at just how terrible the movie really was and how much we both loved it as kids.
It made me feel good though to see my daughter enjoying the same suck ass movie I had enjoyed when I was her age.
